Bookstore Faculty/Staff Discount Days
The Bookstore invites the university community to take advantage of its annual faculty/staff appreciation days in December on all three campuses. The staff discount of 10 percent is increased to 20 percent for two days (textbooks excluded). A valid George Mason ID must be presented.

Faculty and Staff Appreciation Night
Hosted by the George Mason men's basketball team, faculty and staff members can receive four free tickets to the men's basketball game. Additionally, Sodexho serves free food and beverages for a pre-game meal (5:30-6:30 p.m.) in the hospitality room on the Patriot Center's main concourse.

Holiday Party
The annual George Mason faculty and staff holiday party is held in December in the Johnson Center's Dewberry Hall. With a different theme every year, there is always an array of great food, including shrimp, turkey, and roast beef, as well as chocolate fountains, beverages, and desserts. During the party the Staff Senate sponsors a toy and food drive.

Staff Enrichment Day
Held in the Spring and hosted by Human Resources, the Staff Enrichment Day conference, which is open to all staff, provides a chance to grow professionally, learn more about Mason's unique university environment, and network with colleagues.

Staff Senate Staff Appreciation Day
Open to all classified and non student wage staff, the Staff Senate provides fun, food, and much thanks at the annual Staff Appreciation Day in June. A free indoor barbecue luncheon buffet and great prizes help honor and celebrate the excellent staff we have at Mason.

Summer Socials
All students, staff, and faculty are invited to mix and mingle and enjoy summertime at Mason every Wednesday in June and July. Socials begin at 4:30 p.m. on the Johnson Center South Plaza (rain site: Bistro), and free food and beverages are provided (while it lasts!).
